The road ahead for the Spanish National team is about to start this Monday, in what will be the second match of Group D. After Croatia had already won their first match against Turkey, Spain is looking to also win this next game against the Czech side in order to get to the second game with three points in their pocket. But manager Vicente del Bosque has a big problem in the starting XI, he still doesn't really know which goalkeeper he will use for this first match.
Chelsea winger Pedro, is convinced they can get the victory against the Czech, he feels like the sensations they have are positive and they have a big chance of making history even greater than it already is: "We're focused and eager to get going. The sensations remind me of four years ago. We've come from Brazil, where we didn't do well, and we want to reverse the situation. I think we're in good shape.
"Winning the first game is very important, it's what we want. From there, we'll grow as a team and gain confidence. We've prepared for the many things that the Czechs can do, and one is that they retreat. It'll be a very physical game."
On the other side, full-back David Limbersky thinks his side has what it takes to upset the champions. He told iSport that: "Every team has weaknesses, some more, some less. The Spanish are very, very strong up front, on the other hand, each team has its own weakness. That is what we will try to exploit. We know that Spain are the favorites. Certainly in our group, maybe even the whole European Championship. It will be a very tough match."
Possible lineups:
Spain starting lineup (4-3-3 formation): De Gea; Bellerín, Pique, Ramos, Azpilicueta; Iniesta, Bruno, Busquets; Nolito, Morata, Pedro.
Czech Republic starting lineup (4-2-3-1 formation): Cech; Kaderabek, Sivok, Kadlec, Limbersky; Pavelka, Darida; Sural, Rosicky, Krejci; Necid.
