Evan Ndicka is set to turn down strong interest from Arsenal

Ndicka joined Rome on a free transfer two years ago and has since blossomed into a key member of the defence. Ndicka was so vital to the Giallorossi that he participated in every minute of the team's Serie A campaign this season, making history as the first player to do so since 2004. But with Paris Saint-Germain, Newcastle, and Arsenal reportedly showing interest in the 25-year-old centre-back, there has been some conjecture that Ndicka may be leaving Roma during the summer transfer window.

According to reports earlier this month, the Gunners have made preliminary investigations to determine whether the highly regarded Ivory Coast international might go to the Emirates. Ndicka has been mentioned as a possible answer for the north Londoners, and Mikel Arteta is eager for defensive reinforcements to relieve the load on William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes in the upcoming campaign.
