Everton and Betis involved in transfer talks

Everton has been linked with multiple players this offseason and the most recent one includes Guido Rodriguez. As per the reports, Everton and Betis have held meetings discussing the future of the Argentinian defensive midfielder who joined Real Betis in January 2020. After making 100 outings for the team, he established himself as an important part of the squad but Betis is ready to move in a different direction.

Valued at €40m, Rodriguez is a little out of budget for Everton, but Betis is running out of time and might strike a lower-valued deal with the Premier League outfit as well. Everton has a chance to take advantage of the fact that Betis needs to offload multiple players this transfer season to register new ones. Rodriguez would add value to Everton as well, he has even been capped 24 times by Argentina
