AS Roma's Jordan Veretout is very much in demand this offseason as the likes of Everton, alongside Marseille, AC Milan, Tottenham Hotspur, and Newcastle United hope to land the player. Tottenham who declared the marking of Yves Bissouma for £25M last week is probably not going to move for the French midfielder, which opens the entryway for Everton to attempt to fight it out with Marseille, AC Milan, and Newcastle.

Everton is expected to bring in some reinforcement in midfield, Veretout possesses all the necessary qualities that would make him a success at Everton. Last season, Veretout was compelling in Jose Mourinho's AS Roma side showing up in all contests, with 4 goals and 10 assists as he helped his side win the very first UEFA Europa Conference League.
