Everton fell to a 2-0 loss against Aston Villa

It was always going to be too much to ask for three victories in a row, especially if they were all by one goal, and that is exactly what happened. Today, Villa scored, as I had predicted. Particularly in the first half, Everton had many of chances to win the match, but Neal Maupay, Alex Iwobi, and James Tarkowski all squandered fantastic opportunities. The ball was struck against the woodwork and cleared off the line.

Once more, the lack of firepower is seriously harming this squad and undermining Dyche's efforts in other parts of the organisation. If the Blues' don't manage to survive this season and are relegated, as I believe will happen, the owner, board, and director of football will be held mostly responsible. They haven't been able to find a solution to this goal-scoring issue in the past two transfer windows, leaving their new boss with a toothless and frail attack.
