Evra thinks people will be expecting a lot from Pogba and Griezmann

The exclusion of a key player like Karim Benzema has brought much more than just a national disagreement, it has also brought a lot of pressure for the players who will take his place on the attack. Since the Real Madrid striker is considered as one of the best in the world, the French fans understand that if France doesn't win the European Championship this will the the fault of the manager for not bringing Benzema, and the fault of other key players as well for not being able to handle the pressure.

One of the players who believe this is absolutely true, is Patrice Evra who just signed a ew contract with Juventus. He told Journal du Dimanche that: "It's easy to say that they are phenomenal but people are expecting a lot from them. I warned them: Karim is not with us anymore, and if things go badly, they will get the stick. They have incredible talent, but football is 10 per cent talent, 90 per cent mental."

Evra hasn't been able to perform well with his country, this is a pending assignment for him: "I cannot end my career without winning anything with my country. I want to be a winner all the way.  The 2014 World Cup was OK but I have not had a good time after, because I thought we were going the win. OK, it has restored the image of the France team, we needed to after all that happened in 2010 in particular. But we must become a nation that wins."
