FC Barcelona made only two additions to their squad

In the most recent summer transfer window, FC Barcelona added Dani Olmo and Pau Victor to their roster. It is anticipated that these two players will mostly help on the attacking end of the field. As a result, if they get back to 1:1, the Catalans will be aiming to bolster other parts of the club, with defense being one of those areas.

Despite having a plenty of center backs in their lineup, the Blaugranes are now without two key players in Ronald Araujo and Andreas Christensen due to injuries. This season, Eric Garcia has been forced to play in the midfield while Kounde has been the starting right-back, forcing Inigo Martinez and Pau Cubarsi to play an excessive amount of minutes. Under these conditions, Fichajes says that Barcelona can seek to the transfer market to improve their backline even more.
