Filipe blames referee for loss

As Brazilian Filipe Luis thinks, Barcelona is protected by the referees in not just Spain but Europe as well. He wasn't happy after this Tuesday's defeat at the Camp Nou, mainly because the referee called most fouls and cards against Atletico and he didn't want to call the ones against FC Barcelona according to his view. This is the result of the over protection campaign for Barcelona, not only Messi like he had said in the past.

Filipe spoke to BT Sport and roughly criticized the referee for the decisions he made during the match which affected Atletico: "It could be a lot worse but a lot better as well. The red card was totally unfair, it was his second foul and his second card. But it's not easy to play against Barca in the Champions League. We had to do an epic game. We have the second game so we have to be alive to that. We're still alive.

"They scored twice, they won the game, they did what they wanted. We tried to defend but we know it's really difficult, usually they'll have a chance and they had a lot of chances. Fortunately they only scored two. Torres is a brilliant guy, he scored a lot of goals against Barca, they're his favorite team, we'll miss him but we have other players who can play there. Getting them back is possible, but it's really difficult."
