Fiorentina and Cagliari have expressed interest in Esposito

Contacts between the two teams have increased in recent hours, according to L'Unione Sarda via FCInterNews. Sebastiano Esposito and a number of other unpopular players have been placed on the Inter market. They haven't been able to get rid of any of them yet, though.

Fiorentina and Cagliari have expressed interest in Esposito, although negotiations with Inter have not yet begun. Fiorentina has lost ground to Cagliari in the competition for the 23-year-old. However, their talks with the Nerazzurri have not advanced too far. The teams have, in fact, disagreed on the deal formula. Cagliari would want to take the Italian striker on loan with a buyout option, but Inter would prefer to sell him right away. But the Sardinians might have second thoughts. Esposito is allegedly seen by new boss Fabio Pisacane as a huge offensive addition.
