Fiorentina made it seven wins in a row

The Viola were attempting to win their eighth game in a row overall after defeating Sivasspor 4-1 on Thursday to advance to the Conference League quarterfinals against Lech Poznan. But when the game came to a close, a local hooligan charged the field and punched Alessandro Bianco, fracturing his nose in the process. Also hurt were Riccardo Sottil and Aleksa Terzic. After three straight losses and with Kastriot Dermaku and Marin Pongracic long-term absentees, Lecce was dropping in the rankings.

Wladimiro Falcone's strong tip over the bar after a run by Riccardo Saponara and Antonin Barak's wide nod of a free kick from Cristiano Biraghi by the latter player. Saponara went on the attack and whipped in a cross for Nico Gonzalez at the back post, but Antonino Gallo got there first and unintentionally pushed it into his own net, giving Fiorentina the lead.
