Fiorentina retrieved a 1-1 draw with Genoa

Nikola Milenkovic scored with the last kick of the game. It was the time when  Fiorentina reclaimed a 1-1 draw with Genoa.  It was a neck-to-neck competition between two relegation-threatened Serie A teams. Marko Pjaca put Genoa forward in the 89th minute. He did this to set his team on track for their first win since the opening day of the season on 20th September.

Nonetheless, there was a lot of added time in a game. It was repeatedly delayed by video reviews and injuries. However, Fiorentina made the maximum of it at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

Genoa overlooked repeated chances to clear the ball in Fiorentina's last distressed attack in the eighth minute of extra time. Finally,  the ball fell to Milenkovic, a defender who saw his first shot obstructed and nudged in the rebound.
