For Celta Vigo, Iago Aspas scores once more

Celta Vigo defeated Osasuna 1-0 at home, moving up five spots in La Liga thanks to a penalty kick from Iago Aspas, his second in a week. 2Although there wasn't much separating the teams, Celta's talismanic forward's strike in the 68th minute kept up the team's excellent home record. He scored his penalty four minutes after entering the game as a substitute.

Since August, Celta has only lost three of their fourteen home games. This season, only Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid have won more games at home. With the win, they moved up to ninth position, surpassing Osasuna. Despite having 32 points, both teams have played one more game than their rivals. Jon Moncayola, a midfielder for Osasuna shared that a mistake caused them a penalty and they need to concede fewer goals to climb up the table.
