For Del Piero, Leicester shows nothing is impossible

One of the main reasons why people love football so much, is the huge deal of unpredictability that can surprise anyone at any given moment. By the start of the 2015-2016 season, the top contenders in the Premier League were Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and even Arsenal. But against all the odds, modest club Leicester City broke all the predictions and is just three points away from becoming the unexpected champions.

That is a big reason why people turn into football fanatics, that is another reason why kids start loving the game and the only reason why we keep staying on the edge of our seat with every game. For Italian legend Alessandro del Piero, all the credit goes to the Foxes who have lifted the spirit of all those fans that were very disappointed with watching the same teams over and over picking up the medals and trophies, someone new doing it is refreshing. He also talked about his beloved Juventus and their fifth straight Scudetto.

Talking to Sky Evening News, Del Piero explained: "Leicester are ever closer to the Premier League title. I really hope it ends the way we all hope it will, because this really is something to tell our grandchildren, it shows that nothing is impossible in sport. I can’t fail to mention at the end of this extraordinary week what Juventus have done. Encased in a single season is everything we experienced when we won the first of these five Scudetti, coming from Serie B through two difficult seasons where we finished seventh in the league."
