Ivan Toney and Josh Dasilva scored late goals in the second half to give the visitors a point above the relegation zone, while Brentford increased Nottingham Forest's troubles by defeating the visitors 2-1 at home. As a consequence, Forest now sits in 17th position with 30 points, ahead of Everton (28 points) and Leicester City (18 points), who will face off on Monday. Brentford has 50 points and is eighth. Dasilva won the game with a strike from a tight angle in the 93rd minute to clinch the three points.
Even though Forest was under pressure, the visitors' midfielder Danilo scored with the last effort of the half from six yards out after latching onto Morgan Gibbs-White's attempt that was severely deflected. Brentford eventually scored an equalizer in the 82nd minute after spending the whole of the second half trying to do so. Later Dasilva’s solo effort was too much for Navas to handle.
