Frenchman Rudi Garcia was introduced as Napoli's new coach

Rudi Garcia was formally unveiled on Monday as the new Napoli coach, succeeding Luciano Spalletti.

At the press conference, the coach was asked about his experience at Al Nassr, the Saudi club where he coached Cristiano Ronaldo before returning to Italy – he had already coached AS Roma.

The French coach made a very positive assessment of his time in Saudi Arabia, praising the Portuguese, who joined the Saudis in January.

"Honestly, the experience in Saudi Arabia was great. After 23 games, the club had never achieved the results we did. Things went very well with the group. We were lucky to have one of the greatest players in history arrive in January, Cristiano Ronaldo, with whom things also went very well on a personal level. That's how it is, but all experiences are useful", stressed Rudi Garcia.
