Galatasaray have taken the first concrete step toward signing Rafael Leão, submitting an initial proposal to test AC Milan’s willingness to negotiate. Reports from Turkey suggest the Istanbul club view the 1999‑born winger as a marquee addition for their attack and have presented a preliminary offer both to the player and to the Rossoneri hierarchy.

Milan, however, are not rushing into talks. Aware of Leão’s value and ambitions, the club is assessing the financial scope of the bid and the forward’s intentions before deciding whether to engage in negotiations or wait for potential approaches from other major European sides. The opening offer has not triggered an immediate response, with Milan opting for caution as they gauge the market.

For now, Galatasaray’s interest is real and advancing, but the outcome hinges on Milan’s evaluation and Leão’s stance as the summer window continues to unfold.
