Galatasaray signs Ismail Jakobs

AS Monaco has revealed that Ismail Jakobs has signed a season-long loan with Galatasaray, the Turkish powerhouses also has the option to buy the player outright at the end of the loan. The transfer comes at an intriguing moment because he showed off his skills in Les Monegasques' fantastic victory over Olympique Lyonnais a little over a week ago. Caio Henrique missed most of last season due to injury, so this is great timing for a move for him. In fact, Monaco will be praying there aren't any injuries in this area because Adi Hutter said last week that he was eager to maintain all three of his left-backs, Henrique, Kassoum Ouattara, and Jakobs.

Despite frequently taking a backseat to Henrique, the Senegalese international made significant improvement with Les Rouge et Blanc after joining ASM in 2020 from FC Koln and played in over 100 games for the Principality club.
