Genoa are weighing up a move for Joaquin Correa

It has been three years since Correa joined Inter. The Argentine was recruited by the Nerazzurri from Lazio three years ago. He started in the summer of 2021, on a four-year contract.  After Romelu Lukaku was traded to Chelsea, Inter made a major investment to get Correa as an offensive backup. The former attacker for Sampdoria and Sevilla, nevertheless, was never able to reach his peak performance while wearing an Inter jersey.

Correa spent the previous season on loan at Marseille. He was unable to earn a starting position in the Ligue 1 team or contribute to a goal. The term of Correa's contract expires at the end of June 2020. Inter would have to sell him outright; there would be no chance of another loan. It's not like there hasn't been any interest in signing the Argentine.
