One of several Nerazzurri stars that completed their contracts with the team was the 34-year-old. Milan Skriniar (who joined Paris Saint-Germain), Roberto Gagliardini (Monza), and illustrious captain Samir Handanovic are on the list. D'Ambrosio, for his part, continues to be single. Genoa, though, has reportedly become the most tangible option, according to Sky Sport.

The Grifone returned to the top level after spending a season in Serie B after coming in second place to Frosinone in Italy's second division. According to the report, the defender has been extended a two-year deal by the Ligurians. They are currently awaiting a response from the player, which ought to appear within the next several days. D'Ambrosio began his career with Salernitana and then worked for clubs like Fiorentina, Chievo Verona, and Torino. Later, in 2014, he joined Inter, where he played for eight and a half seasons. The Italian, who can play on either flank, was initially a wingback.
