Genoa successfully secured a 2-1 win over Juventus

Juventus lost their chance of winning the Serie A crown after Domenico Criscito's stoppage-time penalty for relegation-threatened Genoa. But Massimiliano Allegri's side went to defeat the opponent with a 2-1 victory. Juventus have already been qualified for the Champion’s League, next season and are now at 69 points with 0 games remaining to play. They will not be able to overtake Inter Milan who has 78 points and is at the top of the standings.

In the last 22 games played by Juventus, it was their second loss. Juventus hardly threatened Genoa's goal in the first half, sending only one shot on target in 45 minutes. Allegri said that this is a defeat they are sorry for. He also went on to say that there was a moment when genoa was in trouble but the Juves didn’t get in control of the game.
