According to Argentine source Sábado Vélez, Bayern Munich are keeping a close eye on Tobías Andrada of Vélez Sarsfield. The local YouTube channel reports that personnel from the German record champions were already on site to scout the 18-year-old.
The talented defensive midfielder reportedly made a positive impression and now Andrada could play a role in the club's transfer plans.
The youngster could be acquired for a what is deemed a bargain price of €14million to bring the U-20 international to Bavaria.
Andrada is still largely unknown in professional football. His contract runs until the end of 2028 and includes a corresponding release clause.
He has only made 16 appearances for his hometown club's first team but gained some international experience with Argentina's U20 team at the World Cup in October. A move to Europe, especially to a top club like Bayern Munich, would therefore be a huge step.
