Ghana forward Samuel Tetteh is on the verge of missing the entire 2018/19 season with a reported injury.
The attacker is said to have sustained a knee injury which might keep him out for months.
Tetteh who completed his loan deal with LASK has already returned to his parent Club Red Bull Salzburg who are said to be looking for his replacement due to his latest injury setback.
Red Bull Salzburg were believed to be considering making the 23-year-old their key striker this season, but it looks like the Austrian Champions could look elsewhere for a replacement.
Reports say the former WAFA man is expected to undergo a surgery in the coming days.
He joined Red Bull Salzburg two seasons ago from WAFA but was loaned to LASK.
The enterprising attacker netted five times in 16 appearances for LASK last season.
