Giovanni Simeone, an Argentine forward for Napoli, is apparently a target for Sevilla. According to SkySport, Antonio Conte's team would be willing to make a move this summer to cash in on the 28-year-old, whose contract ends next summer. Matias Almeyda, the new head coach of Sevilla, reportedly wants to bring Simeone to Spain after working with the player at Banfield in 2015.
But for now, it's only interest, and the Argentine hasn't started formal talks yet. In 2022, Giovanni Simeone joined Napoli on loan, and the team exercised their option to purchase him the following year. Simeone has made 33 appearances in Serie A since moving to Naples, tallying two goals and providing two assists. The former Fiorentina player played 103 appearances for the team in all competitions, scoring 14 goals and dishing out four assists.
