Girona beat Granada 4-2 in Spanish league

Girona defeated Granada 4-2, resulting in their fourth consecutive victory in the Spanish league. After five games, the Catalan club moved into third position behind Barcelona and leader Real Madrid thanks to goals from Yan Couto and Viktor Tsyhankov, Savio, and David Lopez, who struck 12 minutes apart for the visitors in the first half.

Myrto Uzuni, an albanian winger, and Lucas Boye scored goals for promoted Granada in the second half to keep them from falling farther into the relegation zone and winless. They defeated Mallorca in their lone La Liga victory. After beginning the season with a draw against Real Sociedad, Michel's Girona team has recently defeated Getafe, Sevilla, and Las Palmas.
