Girona striker Pau Victor is a target for Barcelona this summer, having had a strong season on loan at Barca Athletic. His contract includes a €3 million buyout option, which the Blaugrana want to exercise. The main disclaimer is that, according to MD, everything will rely on if Victor has access to the funds this summer. The 22-year-old, who leads his Primera RFEF group—in which Barcelona is presently second—has persuaded manager Rafael Marquez and the team that he is worth the expenditure.
Victor, who also has four assists under his belt, has been a major contributor to Marquez's successful second season leading the family team. Xavi Hernandez has called him up to the senior squad because of his goals, although on the five times he has been called up, he has not been utilized as a replacement.
