Glasner bows out with trophy and no future plans

Outgoing Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner said he has made no plans beyond “flying back to London with a hangover” after overseeing his final match, a UEFA Conference League triumph over Rayo Vallecano in Leipzig. The victory marked Palace’s third trophy under his tenure, following the FA Cup and Community Shield, yet speculation about his next move has intensified since he confirmed his departure in January.

Glasner dismissed talk of future jobs, insisting he lacked the desire or energy to speak with other clubs while feeling obligated to give Palace his full commitment. He stressed that he had not thought beyond the celebrations, saying the final demanded complete focus and that he now intends to “let loose” with his players before returning to his family. Aware that any comment could quickly become outdated, Glasner reiterated that the only certainty is enjoying the moment and heading back to London the next day.
