Granada 2-2 draw against Getafe

Following contested handball decisions, Brazilian fullback Guilherme Siqueira of Granada scored twice from the penalty spot.

With 17 points, the Andalusians moved up to 17th position, two points clear of bottom club Osasuna and ahead of Real Mallorca, who was ranked 18th on goal differential. Getafe, which had taken leads twice via Juan Rodriguez and Paco Alcacer, missed a lot of opportunities in the second half and was unable to shut off their rivals. After 19 minutes, Rodriguez gave Getafe the lead by nudging in Adrian Colunga's freekick. However, the visitors equalised when Siqueira scored from a penalty kick given to them after a harsh handball call against David Abraham. Getafe's lead was regained by the on-loan Valencia striker Alcacer after Colunga's deft overhead ball put him through on goal and he scored with a calm half-volley.
