Granada and Cadiz hold each other back with goalless draw

La Liga witnessed a relegation battle between Granada and Cadiz on Monday, but the uneventful night saw both the teams walk away with a point each with the 0-0 draw, and the Andalucian pair stay in the red zone. Cadiz wasted the opportunity to take advantage of 10-men Granada at the Nuevo Estadio de Los Cármenes as both the teams failed to create many chances.

Only Barcelona loanee Alex Collado came close to breaking the deadlock once, Cadiz did show some effort in the second half as well but Isaac Carcelen went wide leaving the side in the bottom three with a disappointing draw away from home. Granada is 17th on the table and enjoys a four-point safety over Cadiz, who will meet Rayo Vallecano this weekend while Granada would take on Valencia next.
