Haaland not enough, Man City stopped by Monaco

From the start, the English showed their strength. In the 15th minute, Erling Haaland found the net after a perfect cross from Josko Gvardiol.

Monaco reacted quickly and in the 18th minute, after a beautiful combination with Krepin Diatta, defender Jordan Teze fired a powerful shot from distance, tying the score at 1-1.

In the first half, Man City continued to press for the lead. However, in the 44th minute, it was Erling Haaland again who climbed over the Monaco defence to score his and Man City's second goal.

In the second half, after City' supremacy, Monaco surprisingly won the penalty. Eric Dier took the responsibility, fooling the Italian goalkeeper and scoring accurately on the right wing, making the score 2-2.

Now Man City have 4 points, while Monaco have 1 point.
