Hack’s brace propelled Gladbach to a 3-1 win against Stuttgart

Robin Hack put Gladbach ahead after only 21 seconds, the quickest goal of the Bundesliga season thus far. Following their early advantage, the Foals controlled and produced a slew of scoring chances. One of which came in the 19th minute. Hack netted for Borussia once again, completing his first brace for the day. The visitors from Stuttgart were considerably more threatening in attack from the middle of the first half but were unable to score due to Gladbach's strong defensive play.

VfB Stuttgart got off to a brighter start after the interval. After Moritz Nicolas stopped Deniz Undav's shot, Josha Vagnoman narrowed the deficit for the visitors in the 56th minute. Stuttgart subsequently increased the pressure, but the Foals defended tenaciously and courageously. Borussia were more threatening in the second half, eventually winning 3-1 thanks to replacement Jordan.
