The future of Hakan Çalhanoğlu at Inter Milan remains uncertain. Following initial talks with Galatasaray, the midfielder is now reportedly in negotiations with Fenerbahçe, according to Italian press.
The Turkish club is prepared to make an offer to Inter that could reach €20 million including bonuses. Meanwhile, Çalhanoğlu is expected to arrive in Milan on Tuesday for a medical check-up related to his recovery from injury.
It’s worth recalling that tensions flared between the player and the club this summer. A public dispute surfaced involving Lautaro Martínez and Çalhanoğlu. After the Argentine forward accused one of his teammates of lacking dedication to the club, Inter president Beppe Marotta confirmed that the criticism was directed at Hakan.
