Ivorian footballer Sébastien Haller made his debut for Borussia Dortmund after being out for nearly six months with cancer.

The player, who on Monday had expressed the hope of being able to play in the resumption of the competition in Germany, in two weeks' time, has already played about 15 minutes, after having entered the final stretch of the private meeting between Dortmund and Fortuna Düsseldorf, of the second German league, which Borussia won by 5-1, in a game played in Málaga, Spain.

On July 18, 2022, the athlete was diagnosed with a malignant tumor in a testicle, failing to make his debut for Borussia Dortmund, in which the Portuguese Raphaël Guerreiro plays, a club that, in the summer, paid 30 million to Ajax to secure advanced.
