FC Barcelona continue to bolster their ranks with an eye on the future. The Blaugrana are set to secure the services of Hamza AbdelKarim, an 18-year-old talent from Al Ahly SC, who will arrive on loan.
The Egyptian club have already confirmed the forward's impending arrival, although the move is yet to be made official. "Yes, he is joining Barcelona. I wish him great success so he can continue his career there, establish himself at Barca, and not return to Egypt," stated Walid Salah El-Din, Al Ahly's Director of Football, in comments reported by MARCA.
Hamza AbdelKarim is expected to arrive in Catalonia in the coming days to link up with Barca Atletic.
AbdelKarim rose to prominence as one of Egypt's standout performers at the U17 World Cup, where he played a key role in his nation reaching the round of 16.
