Mario Hermoso, who is currently a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Atletico Madrid, is at the center of ongoing transfer talks in Italy. After negotiations with Napoli fell through—reportedly due to disagreements over a signing-on fee—Hermoso's representatives have shifted their focus to Inter Milan and AC Milan. DAZN transfer reporter Orazio Accomando has confirmed that Hermoso's agents arrived in Milan this week and have been actively engaging with both clubs.

Both Inter and Milan are keen on bolstering their defensive options, and Hermoso's availability without a transfer fee makes him an attractive prospect. Previously linked with clubs like Roma, Bologna, and Juventus, Hermoso found those opportunities unviable. His primary competition now comes from Al-Shabab FC in the Saudi Pro League, but Hermoso prefers to continue his career in Europe. The situation remains dynamic as negotiations continue.
