The Chilean national team has many great players in it's roster, Alexis Sanchez is currently indisposed due to an injury but they have Arturo Vidal who has already taken the responsibility of taking his national team to victory. Their first rival is Colombia this Thursday, player Giovanni Hernandez took some time to tell the press how important Vidal is for the Chileans.
Talking to Radio ADN, Hernandez said: "Vidal is on the level of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. As a kid, he knew the potential he had and knew how to exploit it. He's one of the best players in the world."
The former Colombia international knows both Arturo Vidal and Alexis Sanchez because he played with both of them in Colo Colo before he retired. About Sanchez, Hernandez said: "He was a playful kid - humorous, happy, humble. That's what I remember about Alexis. Today, he's more of a man. He always worked a little harder than the rest, and that's why he's achieved everything he has."
