The young Brazilian attacker will be a major factor in deciding the total cost of his move; he was bought from Palmeiras and has already scored two goals. A transfer price of €60 million, comprising €35 million as a set sum and an extra €25 million in performance-related variables, was first discussed.
According to recent remarks made by the Palmeiras youth team's director, Endrick's future performances may cause this sum to rise. SPORT claims that some terms in the agreement might result in an increase in the overall cost. For example, Real Madrid has to pay an additional €1.5 million for each of Endrick's five goals. Incentives linked to performance include bonuses of up to €25 million, which are linked to goals and assists. One such incentive came about as a consequence of Endrick's first call-up to the Brazilian national team, which earned Palmeiras an extra €1.5 million.
