During Canada's CONCACAF Nations League third-place clash against the United States men's national team, which they won 2-1, Davies was forced to leave the pitch in the 12th minute after he felt discomfort in his right leg. The full-back immediately headed to the dressing room and later came back to sit on the bench with ice on his right knee. Bayern have now confirmed that Davies suffered an ACL injury that will keep him out for "several months".
Bayern Munich have also confirmed that Dayot Upamecano has suffered a knee injury to pile more misery on head coach Vincent Kompany.
