"I prefer Gakpo to leave in the summer but he could leave now"

Cody Gakpo was one of the revelations of the World Cup in Qatar. The 23-year-old striker has been a standout performer for the Netherlands under Van Gaal, scoring three of the Netherlands' goals.
As a result, several clubs are keeping an eye on him, such as Manchester United, who are looking for Cristiano Ronaldo's replacement.
Gakpo's contract with PSV expires in 2026 but he could leave in January, according to his PSV coach Ruud van Nistelrooy: "You just know that there comes a time when you can't say no any more.
"If I have a choice, I prefer Gakpo to leave in the summer but he could leave now," the manager concluded.
