Real Betis of Manuel Pelligrini saw off La Liga rivals Granada on Monday night. Real Betis defeated Granada 2-1 and moved a spot closer to Europa League Sport in the Spanish League on Monday night. This victory moved Betis in 6th position with three rounds left. It is currently two points ahead of Villarreal. The teams that are in 5th and 6th positions will qualify for the Europa League in the next season.
The league leaders Atletico Madrid are given a visit by Real Sociedad who is at 5th position and 2 points ahead of Betis, on Wednesday. Borja Iglesias scored a goal in the 39th minute and this gave hosts a lead in the first half. In the 2nd half, an equalizer goal was taken by Darwin Machis in the 66th minute, but at the last moment, in the 87th minute of the game, Iglesias popped back and scored a winning net against the Granada.
