In Stuttgart, Burke's brace seals all three points

Oliver Burke's brace helped SV Werder Bremen defeat VfB Stuttgart 2-1 on Sunday, April 13. Leonidas Stergiou gave Stuttgart the lead in the first half in the 19th minute, but the Scotsman equalized in the second half in the 32nd minute. Ole Werner's team was one man up for the final twenty-five minutes after former Green-White Nick Woltemade was given a second yellow in the 65th minute. Burke's second goal in extra time of the game gave the visitors the three points, and they have now won all three of their previous away games.

Stuttgart takes the lead, thanks to Stergiou. Weiser slides a pass past the backline and into Burke's path as Werder gains control in midfield and swiftly counters. After driving towards the goal, the Scotsman skillfully tucks the ball into the bottom corner. Another goal late in the game gives Werder's 2-1 victory over VfB Stuttgart.
