According to sources, Inter may make another free agent move. Jhon Espinoza, a former right-back for the Chicago Fire and international for Ecuador, has been offered. By making wise additions to players who have expiring contracts, the Nerazzurri have balanced their roster and have already secured the contracts of Mehdi Taremi and Piotr Zielinski for this season. Calciomercato.it reports that Espinoza's representative has been in touch with Inter to inquire about the 25-year-old's desire to sign.

With Inter's 3-5-2 configuration, he plays at right-back, which is equivalent to right wing-back. He has two senior caps for Ecuador. Prior to January 2023, he played for two seasons in Major League Soccer with the Chicago Fire, most recently with FC Lugano of Switzerland. He might be an inexpensive replacement for Canada international Tajon Buchanan during his injury layoff due to a fractured tibia because of his comparatively modest wage.
