Inter interested in Malick Fofana
05.09.25 / 08:00
Inter spent a significant amount of the summer attempting to sign Lookman to San Siro, but the deal fell through due to Atalanta's adamant refusal to budge on their €50 million (£43 million/$58 million) player valuation. Calciomercato claims that Lookman is no longer interested in joining Inter, as the team is currently keeping an eye on Lyon's Fofana. The Italian team also made a last-minute attempt to get Ndiaye from Everton, putting in a €45 million (£39 million/$52 million) deal, but their attempt was quickly rejected.
Inter chased Lookman all summer, but Atalanta refused to sell to a Serie A rival unless their demands were met. Tensions rose after Lookman’s public transfer request, angering fans and the club. Inter eventually turned to Ndiaye late in the window, while Bayern also made a deadline-day approach.
