Inter is keeping an eye on Barcelona midfielder Lopez as a long-term successor for the seasoned Henrikh Mkhitaryan, according to a Calciomercato story (via Mundo Deportivo). The UCL 2025 finalists and reigning Serie A champions are keen to add new players to their roster. The 22-year-old has apparently been identified by Inter as a top target for the forthcoming transfer window, even if they have not yet made an official bid. Lopez has been valued at €60 million by Barcelona, who are reportedly amenable to discussions.
With Henrikh Mkhitaryan approaching his 36th birthday and anticipated to go when his contract expires in 2026, Inter is getting ready to rebuild its midfield.
