Inter Milan have identified Jan Oblak as their leading goalkeeping target for the upcoming transfer window, with reports indicating that negotiations between the parties are already underway. The Slovenian international has been placed at the top of Inter’s shortlist as the club prepares for the likely departure of Yann Sommer, who is expected to leave after failing to agree terms on a contract extension. Fenerbahçe have also submitted an attractive proposal for Oblak, but Inter may be in a stronger position to move quickly, particularly given the administrative uncertainty currently affecting the Turkish side.
Oblak remains under contract with Atlético Madrid until 2028, meaning any deal will require formal discussions between the clubs. Competition for the veteran goalkeeper is expected to be significant, with several European teams monitoring his situation. Inter, however, believe his experience and reliability at elite level make him an ideal candidate to anchor their defensive rebuild.
