Inter Miami move closer to landing Casemiro

Casemiro is edging towards a move to Inter Miami, with the Brazilian expected to leave Manchester United after making his final appearance for the club against Brighton. The MLS side have emerged as the leading destination, viewing him as an ideal successor to Sergio Busquets and a major addition to Lionel Messi’s squad.

The 34‑year‑old has enjoyed an outstanding season at Old Trafford, combining his defensive authority with improved attacking output, including nine Premier League goals. His departure comes after four years in Manchester, where he became a central figure in midfield.

Inter Miami are confident of completing the transfer before the World Cup begins on June eleven, following Casemiro’s call‑up to Carlo Ancelotti’s Brazil squad. The former Real Madrid star is now preparing for a fresh challenge in the United States, with Miami pushing to secure one of the most high‑profile signings in their short history.
