According to Soccernet.ng, Inter Milan, the 36-time Italian Champions, are keeping a watch on Michael Kayode, the full-back for Fiorentina, in case he decides to take Denzel Dumfries' spot. Since 2021, Dutch full-back Denzel Dumfries has worked in the San Siro, where he has helped Simone Inzaghi's team win the Copa Italia and the Super Copa Italia.

The 27-year-old's current contract expires in 2025, and the club and the former PSV player have not been able to come to an agreement on a new one. This has raised speculation that the player may leave the Nerazzurri's in the summer. The 2010 UEFA Champions League champions have reportedly considered 19-year-old Michael Kayode as a possible Dumfries substitute. This information is sourced from Inter News. Italian-born Kayode, whose current contract with Fiorentina expires in 2028, is a right-back who rose through the ranks of the club's youth. Inter might lose a lot of money on this acquisition.
