Atletico Madrid eliminated the Nerazzurri from the Champions League Round of 16. It was a devastating loss for the team. Since the Scudetto championship is presumably already secured at this stage, the team has plenty of time to finalize its summer preparations. However, the European withdrawal also presented a stark picture, especially when it came to attacks.

The source makes a comparison to the previous season. Edin Dzeko might be expected to start the game for Simone Inzaghi, who would then substitute Romelu Lukaku. Taremi is already committed to the Serie A leaders for the next campaign. When the Iranian's contract with Porto expires in June, he will sign with the team as a free agent. However, as the pink newspaper clarifies, this will not be enough. Thus, the insider anticipates Inter to pursue a striker who is thought to be "more ready" than Taremi in terms of playing experience at the highest level.
