Inter Milan climb to second place in Serie A

Milan stays at the top of the table when Theo Hernández’s double helps them make a comeback to draw against Parma 2-2 while Inter Milan climbs closer to AC Milan by cutting their lead to three points after scoring three goals against Cagliari to win 3-1. While in other matches Napoli and Juventus beat Sampdoria and Genoa to stay a point behind Inter.

Inter turned the game around in the last 15 minutes when Nicolò Barella, Danilo D’Ambrosio, and Romelu Lukaku scored for the club to ensure their win while Cagliari went ahead in the first half when Riccardo Sottil netted a goal. Inter made an exit from the Champions League when they drew up with Shakhtar Donetsk 0-0 and could not reach the knockout stage of the Champions League. Inter could have scored several times if it hadn’t been for Cagliari goalkeeper Alessio Cragno who denied Inter many times.
