Inter Milan are reportedly preparing a player-plus-cash offer to sign Parma defender Giovanni Leoni during the summer transfer window, according to Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio. The Nerazzurri are considering including youth players Thomas Berenbruch or Matteo Lavelli in the deal to sway Parma.
Inter’s interest in the 19-year-old centre-back dates back to last summer, but Parma secured his signature then. Following a strong season at the Stadio Ennio Tardini, and with Cristian Chivu’s appointment as coach—who previously brought out the best in Leoni—Inter are renewing their push.
