The two South American clubs are reportedly interested in the Argentine, according to Argentine football journalist German Garcia Grova. Forward Joaquin Correa is currently under contract with Inter Milan until the end of June; he was expected to leave the Nerazzurri last summer following a disappointing loan spell at Marseille, but he chose to stay. Correa has been a bit part player for Inter this season, but he has made appearances for the Nerazzurri, including a few starts in Serie A.
Correa is reportedly the favourite to start against Udinese this weekend. According to Argentine football reporter Grova, Correa’s future could be in South America. Grova reports that Brazilian club Internacional have opened talks with the 30-year-old’s representatives. This would be for a free transfer when Correa’s deal with Inter expires.
